Daniel 9:27
[27]And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (in the Temple) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
This prophecy above are the events to take place in the 70th weeks of Daniel, the last week of Seventy Weeks of Daniel. And this is actually the major events the sons of Isssachah of the new Testament (Hmmmmmm) are waiting for. Apart from the covenant, another thing is the Jewish Temple that is expected to be built, but the Spirit of God is compelling to take time to explain everything a true Christian and a Bride of Jesus Christ preparing for the Rapture need to know about this Temple and It's great significance as we get ready for the Translation.
I believe at the end of this series, if you take time to read through and Study more on this series, your eyes of understanding will be enlighten and you shall receive also receive the Translative faith. This is a Rapturing Message that delivers Extra Oil into your vessel.
Introduction
The Temple Mount ("Mount of the House [of God, i.e. the Temple]"), it's known to Muslims as the Haram esh-Sharif "the Noble Sanctuary of Jerusalem"), a hill located in the Old City of Jerusalem , is one of the most important religious sites in the world. It has been venerated as a holy site for thousands of years by Judaism , Christianity , and Islam . The present site is dominated by three monumental structures from the early Umayyad period: the al-Aqsa Mosque , the Dome of the Rock and the Dome of the Chain, as well as four minarets. The Temple Mount , located in Jerusalem , can be accessed through eleven gates (ten reserved for Muslims and one for non-Muslims), and contains a further six sealed gates, with guard posts of Israeli police in the vicinity of each.
The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism , which regards it as the place where
God's divine presence is manifested more than in any other place. According to the rabbinic sages whose debates produced the Talmud , it was from here the world expanded into its present form and where God gathered the dust used to create the first human, Adam.
Since at least the first century CE, the site has been associated in Judaism with Mount Mariah. Mount Moriah is the name given by the Hebrew Bible to the location of Abraham's binding of Isaac. Several passages in the Hebrew Bible indicate that during the time when they were written, the Temple Mount was identified as Mount Zion . The Mount Zion mentioned in the later parts of the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 60:14 ) and in the Book of Psalms seems to refer to the top of the hill, generally known as the Temple Mount. According to the Book of Samuel , Mount Zion was the site of the Jebusite fortress called the "stronghold of Zion", but once the First Temple was erected, according to the Bible, at the top of the Eastern Hill ("Temple Mount"), the name "Mount Zion" migrated there too. The name later migrated for a last time, this time to Jerusalem's Western Hill.
According to Jewish tradition and scripture, the First Temple was built by King Solomon the son of King David in 957 BCE and destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE. The second was constructed under the auspices of Zerubbabel in 516 BCE and destroyed by the Roman Empire in 70 AD (see the Seventy Weeks of Daniel). In the 2nd century, the site was used for a temple to Jupiter Capitolinus . It was redeveloped following the Arab conquest. The Scriptures cclearly revealed and even Jewish tradition maintains it that it is here a Third and final Temple (The Tribulation Temple, just before the Millennium) will also be built. The location is the holiest site in Judaism and is the place Jews turn towards during prayer. Due to its extreme sanctity, many Jews will not walk on the Mount itself, to avoid unintentionally entering the area where the Holy of Holies stood, since according to Rabbinical law, some aspect of the divine presence is still present at the site. It was from the Holy of Holies that the High Priest communicated directly with God.
The Temple was of central importance in Jewish worship, in the Tanakh and the Christian Old Testament. In the New Testament it remains the site of several events in the life of Jesus, and Christian loyalty to it as a focal point remained long after his death. The attempt to rebuild the Temple was destroyed by the earthquake in 363 AD and since then it became a desolate local rubbish dump, perhaps outside the city limits, as Christian worship in Jerusalem shifted to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Umayyad Caliphs commissioned the construction of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock on the site. The Dome was completed in 692 AD, making it one of the oldest extant Islamic structures in the world. The Al Aqsa Mosque rests on the far southern side of the Mount, facing Mecca. The Dome of the Rock currently sits in the middle, occupying or close to the area where the Holy Temple previously stood.
As the site is part of the Old City, controlled by Israel since 1967, both Israel and the Palestinian Authority claim sovereignty over it, and it remains a major focal point of the Arab–Israeli conflict . In an attempt to keep the status quo, the Israeli government enforces a controversial ban on prayer by non-Muslims.
In recent news (On Sunday, 9th April), Israeli forces detained 30 Palestinians in what has been described as a routine security crackdown. While the majority were later released, many have been banned from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City, some for at least 15 days and others for periods between three to six months.
On 26 October 2016, UNESCO’s Heritage Committee ratified a resolution condemning Israeli violations on archaeological and Islamic sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
UNESCO’s Denial of the Jewish Connection to the Temple Mount
The “Occupied Palestine” Resolution is the latest of such measures taken by UNESCO – where Israel and its allies are far outnumbered by Arab countries and their supporters, and a body that admitted the ‘Palestinians’ as members in 2011.
This latest resolution was put forth by the ‘ Palestinians ‘, Egypt , Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and Sudan and was passed with 24 votes in favour, six against and 26 abstentions. It follows close on the heels of a similar one passed by UNESCO April 16 2016, which condemned “ Israeli aggressions and illegal measures against the freedom of worship and Muslim access to the al-Aqsa Mosque ” and which referred to the Temple Mount site by only its Arabic names.
Like the UNESCO resolution passed in April, the “ Occupied Palestine ” Resolution also refers to the Temple Mount site only by the site’s Muslim name, al-Haram al Sharif (Arabic for “the Noble Sanctuary”) and to the Western Wall (the remaining outer wall of the Second Temple) only as al-Buraq Plaza and by doing so, effectively denies the Jewish connection to both the Temple Mount and the Western Wall .
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu said;
“To say that Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall is like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China and that Egypt has no connection to the pyramids. With this absurd decision, UNESCO lost the little legitimization it had left.”
But, it's quite unfortunate that many Christians don't know, the Significance of this important Site, The Temple Mount to the rising of Antichrist and Coming of Jesus Christ at the Rapture.
I believe by the end of this series on Temple Mount, the true Bride of Christ will be inspired and encourage to always follow the news that has to do with the Temple Mount.
A new resolution set to be submitted by Arab nations on behalf of the Palestinians to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will challenge Israel's sovereignty over the whole of the city of Jerusalem.
A draft of the resolution, obtained by Israeli officials, was quoted by the Jerusalem Post as stating that "any action taken by Israel, the Occupying Power, to impose its laws, jurisdiction, and administration on the City of Jerusalem, are illegal and therefore null and void and have no validity whatsoever."
The resolution, up for vote on May 1, was submitted by Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar and Sudan, on behalf of the Palestinians. It is not the first time that a UNESCO resolution has refused to recognize Israeli sovereignty over east Jerusalem, but it is the first time Arab states have challenged its rule in the city's west, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The status of Jerusalem is a contentious issue in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Palestinians claim East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state, while Israel has declared the entire city as its capital. Notably absent from the resolution is any mention of the flashpoint Temple Mount and the Western Wall holy sites, as they are known to Jews, or Al-Haram Al-Sharif Mosque and the Buraq Wall, as they are known to Muslims The Temple Mount has been the focus of several past UNESCO resolutions that have controversially denied any Jewish connections to the site. The complex is considered Judaism's holiest site, once the site of the first and second Temples, and is the third holiest to the Muslim faith. The new resolution text declares Jewish holy sites such as the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem as "an integral part of Palestine," but makes no mention of Temple
The site's exclusion from the May 1 resolution, which instead reaffirms "the importance of the Old City of Jerusalem and its Walls for the three monotheistic religions ," marks a clear victory for Israel, the country's UNESCO envoy Carmel Shama-HaCohen told the Jerusalem Post. Shama-HaCohen credited the victory to public support from US President Donald Trump, and US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, who have taken a hard stance against anti-Israel bias at international forums.
Israel on Wednesday announced a $2-million cut in its contribution to the United Nations budget because of constant criticism by the UN Human Rights Council of its policies towards the Palestinians. The Jewish state had already cut $6 million from its contribution of $11.7 million following a UN Security Council resolution passed in December condemning Israel's settlement building in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
The 47-member UN Human Rights Council opened its main annual session in Geneva with eyes fixed on the US seat, occupied for the first time by an envoy from President Donald Trump's administration
This come as 2 weeks ago the United Kingdom put the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) "on notice" over its "bias against Israel", after the Geneva-based body adopted four resolutions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and a fifth condemning alleged human rights abuses in the Golan Heights.
As it stand the Arab nations, Russia, Asia, North Africa, almost 40 nations all together, are against Israel but there are two nations who will continue to stand with Israel based on prophecy, United Kingdom and United States of America. Many are yet to understand the secrets behind the prosperity of these two nations. Well, one of it is their dying support for God's own nation. I will try and teach on this one of this days.
Now, in a scathing statement, the UK's Mission to the United Nations lamented that while five resolutions were passed condemning Israel, not one condemned neither incitement nor terrorism on the part of the Palestinians. The statement warned that the UK would vote against future resolutions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict if the UNHRC did not change its "absurd" and "disproportionate focus on Israel."
"Our enduring commitment to the universality of rights is also our source of enduring disappointment with the Council's bias against Israel, " the statement read, noting that 68 of the Council's 135 country-specific resolutions have been against Israel. "Justice is blind and impartial. This selective focus on Israel is neither."
The statement came as the Council adopted five resolutions under the body's Agenda Item 7, which mandates discussion of Israel's human rights record at every UNHRC session. Israel is the only country for which such a mandate exists.
Thirty-six member states voted in favor of adopting a resolution criticizing Israeli settlements, and calling on those nations to warn their citizens and business firms of the reputation, financial and legal risks associated with financial transactions, investments, purchases, trade, loans, and service provision agreements with Israeli settlements.
Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, China, India, Japan, South Africa, Nigeria and Brazil were among those states who voted in favor of the resolution.
Only the United States and Togo opposed the resolution, with nine states abstaining. The US also vowed to vote against any resolution proposed under Agenda Item 7, stating that it "does not serve the interests of the Council to single out one country in an unbalanced matter." Three other resolutions were adopted on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: One on Israeli accountability for alleged human rights abuses in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and east Jerusalem; another on the status of Palestinian human rights in those territories; and the third concerning the Palestinians' right to self-determination, which passed almost unanimously.
A fifth resolution condemned Israel for alleged human rights abuses against it's Druze citizens in the Golan Heights, area seized from neighboring Syria in 1967 and annexed 14 years later, in a move never recognized by the international community. The UK Mission singled out the Golan resolution for particular criticism, saying in its statement that "nowhere is the disproportionate focus on Israel starker and more absurd ."
"Syria's regime butchers and murders its people on a daily basis. But it is not Syria that is a permanent standing item on the Council's agenda; it is Israel," (And this the truth).
The statement said, adding that the UK remained "unwavering" on its position that the Golan is "occupied".
The UK statement concluded that the "disproportionate and biased path" taken by the UNHRC is an obstacle to a negotiated peace agreement (Dan 9:27) between the Israelis and Palestinians, putting the Council "on notice" "Today we are putting the Human Rights Council on notice. If things do not change, in the future we will adopt a policy of voting against all resolutions concerning Israel's conduct in the Occupied Syrian and Palestinian territories."
Israel's representative to UN institutions in Geneva, Aviva Raz Shechter, slammed the resolutions and blasted the "absurdity" and "cynicism" of the Human Rights Council "Again and again we ask: where is the sense of priority of the HRC? Where is its moral compass?" Shechter said addressing the Council.
The United States has gone as far as to threaten to quit the Council over its anti-Israel bias, with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson demanding the UNHRC undergo "considerable reform." The United States was elected to the 47-member council, the UN's main body for promoting and protecting human rights worldwide, for a three-year term ending in 2019. Tillerson did not give any indication of the deadline for a decision on the US seat at the council. President Donald Trump's administration has vowed to defend Israel at the United Nations and rebuked the rights council for adopting resolutions that criticize Washington's Mideast ally.
The Human Rights Council was established in 2006, replacing the Human Rights Commission which had faced frequent criticism, also for its acceptance of members with records of human rights abuse. Several countries such as China, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran hold chairs on the Council and are known to be frequent offenders of human rights, however, Israel has been condemned more times than any other country.
Brethren, Remember Jerusalem in your prayers, and you shall do good and prosper, the scriptures say so...
Why All These Condemnations Against Israel?
This is as a result of Prophecy, all this Condemnation and Resolution against Israel will make a way for the false man of Peace to rise, he will also be a Jew, who will be able to bring all nations together in harmony, He will also be the one to bring forth the Peace Agreement between Israel, Palestine and Arab nations (Dan 9:27, we are on this topic already, Seventy Weeks of Daniel). But, Prophetically they have to hate and be against Israel so that this man, the antichrist can rise and bring forth a unity between the Arab nations and Israel.
But before the agreement, the Temple Mount, the Tribulation Temple has to be build. But a question I will answering in my final article on this series will be, what did this Temple has to do in the coming of Jesus Christ, The Rapture and the Rising of the Antichrist. I believe this same anti-christ before he rise to power, he would be the one working under ground making sure the Temple is ready for Jewish Sacrificial worship and oblation. As I'm typing now the Temple Project is going on, infact the training of the Levites in Preparation for the Temple worship an sacrifice is going on already, recently some groups begin the sacrificial worship few Kilometers to the Temple Mount. All these I will go into in my next article on this series.
This is a crucial and important event that you have to follow and understand in your preparation for the Rapture.
